Why We Support Our Community
Edify Academy began by helping schools find teachers and grew into providing personalised tuition for students. Throughout that journey, our purpose has stayed the same: helping people find the support they need to learn and move forward with confidence.
We want to bring that same care to the wider community. Sometimes, making progress starts with having someone listen, explain something clearly and give you time to try it for yourself. Our Community Support programme creates opportunities for local people to ask questions, share experiences and learn useful skills in a welcoming setting.
Our community events are free to attend and are separate from our academic tuition. You do not need to be an Edify Academy student or parent to take part. As the programme develops, we hope to offer activities for different ages and interests, shaped by what people in our community tell us would help them.
We are starting small, with practical sessions where a little support can make everyday life easier. We look forward to meeting you, hearing your ideas and learning together.

Digital Confidence: Phone & Laptop Help
Join us for a relaxed session for adults and older adults who would like help using their phone or laptop. We will work through everyday tasks such as sending emails, browsing the internet, setting calendar reminders and alarms, using the calculator, and keeping in touch through WhatsApp, social media or video calls. Bring your questions and learn at your own pace; no previous experience is needed.

Please bring your phone and, if you have one, your laptop. You are still welcome if you do not have a laptop; we can demonstrate using a computer during the session.
